Animal Print Pants: My New “Jeans”

There was a time when jeans were the only types of pants I would wear. I used to think that they were the only color that matched with everything (well, and black). But those days are in the past, and I’ve discovered a new neutral (as my bestie Mike likes to call it): animal print.

No, it’s not too out there.

Yes, you can pull it off.

Day and/or night, my friend… don’t be afraid!

So many of you have probably seen my new collection of animal print pants. For a loooong time, I clearly only felt leopards were the ONLY animals in the animal kingdom worthy of these curves, but I was wrong.

Apparently, all animal prints look good on me. JK… on everyone. My two current faves are zebra and snake. These two animals are really taking the fashion world for a spin, and I’m hoping along for the ride. Can’t wait for tiger print to be a thing because I’m totally ready for it, btw.

Anyway, so how can we style the famous animal print pants?

If you’re conservative or for a sexy night look, I recommend a solid color. I usually gravitate towards black, but a nude or a red would be hot. I’ve seen people doing white and blue as well, and I dig it.

It really depends on the print as well. I feel like snake and cats do better with the warmer tomes and the zebra works better with the cooler ones.

Ultimately it’s up to you. Tie it with a cute belt or belt bag (my new favorite accessory) and a pair of heels and voila! Set.

Day time look? No problem.

A graphic tee can do the trick. Find something playful like this NY and Company top. Or something more simple like the Old Navy one below. Again, I’d say to keep the cooler tones with the zebra and the warmer ones with the snake… but play with it.

Fashion is completely in YOUR hands. What you feel beautiful and comfortable in is what people will ultimately think looks good. We project our confidence to others, and even when they may not love your look, they’ll love it on you!

Stay wild, friends ❤️
