So I’m always looking for ways to make my mom life easier. I don’t know about you, but I’m one of those women who thinks parenting is possibly the most difficult and annoying (yes, and rewarding ::insert eye roll emoji because I can’t believe that if I don’t put that in there people will judge me-LOL::) job I have ever had. While I am obsessed with my bunny (those of you who follow my stories know), I’m also always like wtf-ing at parenthood ALL THE TIME.

I WAS NOT READY. It’s been over a year and a half, and I’M STILL NOT READY.

But I’m here, keeping this human alive, and for that exist parent hacks.

This little summer hack has been around since the wee days of my little bonbon. It’s the mini inflatable pool. I mean, you could just get a regular one but this one has a ROOF, so sunblock-duh. Not that I’m not a freak and dress him in spf clothing, a hat, and apply actual sunblock; but extra protection from the sun, my mortal enemy (read I don’t want wrinkles), is ALWAYS WELCOME. Anywho, I bought this thing to keep the bunny entertained when we went on vacation about a year ago.

AND IT’S THE BEST THING EVER.

Here’s why:

For one, it’s compact. It’s not too big and fits in a tiny box, which was easy to take in my luggage on our vacation. I blew it up and VOILA: portable crib, boo. Didn’t even have to be afraid he’d fall because it has WALLS.

I put him in there to ride the lazy river, to play on the beach, to nap while we were at the bar, to sleep at night. It’s f*king amazing.

AND it’s quick to blow up.

Now, it’s my little afternoon pool. Plopped it under the avocado tree, filled it up, filled up my glass with some Prosecco, put him in there with some toys, and voila… entertainment. I mean, if this isn’t the ultimate parenting hack, idk what is.

YOU HAVE TO GET ONE. I AM NOT GETTING PAID TO POST THIS. It literally changed my life.

In the summer, when I go to the beach WILL come with me. It will be his little pool and nap area because it’s just the bomb diggity.
