Valentine’s Style

Jumping on the bandwagon of ideas for what to wear on Valentine’s Day. This year, I decided to do a “from my closet” set of looks. My husband doesn’t really ever notice new things(which is great because I never have to explain my never-ending new outfits), he notices things that look good. And since my Valentine’s Day is sort-of reserved for him, well, it really doesn’t matter if I buy something new or not. So in the spirit of saving my shopping money for other things…like vacation garb, I pulled these three looks from America’s Closet!

LOOK ONE: V-DAY LUNCH

For my day look, I selected a soft lace blouse from BCBG with jeans and shooties. I felt the lace gave it the romantic touch and the see-through elements gives it a little sexy touch. For the hair, a bun to show off a cute pair of earrings and dress up the look a bit. Pair that with a barely-there makeup look and rosy lips and cheeks for the perfect Valentine’s Day lunch look.

LOOK TWO: CASUAL DATE/GALENTINES

Yeah

For this look, I paired a fitted sweater dress with faux leather leggings and over the knee boots. And add sparkly clutch to tie it together and give it a little bit of oomph. Loose & bouncy locks with a barely-there makeup look as well tone this look down for a more casual outing or maybe one with the gals.

LOOK THREE: VAVAVOOM OUTING

What do you get when you put together a little red dress, an animal print jacket, red pumps and a clutch: the perfect Valentine’s Day look. I gave this look a sleek high pony, big red earrings and smokey eyes. Ready for drinks or whatever the night has to offer.

So there you have them:  my Valentine’s looks, straight from my closet. Don’t have time to shop? I’m sure you can pull something together, and if it looked great on you before, I’m sure it will look great on you again. XO, gals! And Happy Galentine’s <3
